Here we go again, This former US Army Special Forces member made his debut in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) but as a female athlete.

Alana McLaughlin was born as a man and his family see him as a man and were against having him a s a daughter, but Alana had a different opinion.

He/She served as a US Army Special Forces member for six years .

After leaving the US army force in 2010, Alana started to change her gender by biological surgery, later she decided to start competing as a transgender athlete in the mixed martial arts in the US.

McLaughlin had her professional debut on September 10, 2021, at Combat Global against Celine Provost. McLaughlin won the fight by rear-naked choke in the second round, giving her a professional record of 1-0-0.

Alana is the second transgender athlete to fight in the MMA competition after Fallon Fox who last fought in 2014.

Honestly this is not good for women sports and it is not fair for a man to fight against women after several surgeries, and it really does not matter if the test of hormones proves that it is equal to women.

This type of fight may cause very serious injuries to real female opponents.

There is a Thai transgender who kept fighting against men and still winning against them, because he is always a man no matter what, and he deserves respect at least for avoiding moving to the female division.

The right thing that the organizations should do is to stop this from happening again, because it is against the philosophy of sports in general.

what do you think guys about this? Should it be allowed? Please feel free to share your thoughts and opinions about the participation of the transgenders in the MMA fights against female athletes.

  1. What it should happen is to create a transgender division to make it fair
