We were surprised and kind of shocked in a good way to find this video about Bruce Lee.

Whie many people say that Bruce Lee never fought before and that he is good only in movies and did not have skills for the real fighting or competition, we found this video talking about the only recorded boxing fight of Bruce Lee.
Bruce Lee started Wing Chun with the grand master Ip Man, and one year later he was transferred to another school due to his street fight issues.
Two years later in 1958, Lee was mentored by the teacher and boxing coach of the school team brother Edward.
At the age id 18 in March 29th, 1958 Bruce Lee participated in Hong Kong Kong schools Boxing tournament.
Bruce Lee made his way to the final and fought against the previous champion.

His opponent was strong and the fight lasted three rounds and Bruce Lee declared winner.

  1. NO way he used a palm strike to win a boxing match. First he would be disqualified and second the chances of him or anyone else ending a fight with a palm strike is almost impossible. I see how Bruce moves and there is no doubt in my mind that he is a world class striker but the problem that Bruce Lee fans have when they talk about Bruce is that most of what he did in the movies would not work in a real fight in or out of the ring. That said he would have been great and was great.

Nobody really actual will ever know the whole truth from the story telling even if close friends has witness bruce lee.we are not there at the time.but I will say this though.if a person who made up their mind to kill their opponent at all cost...people who has a mind set that needs things in their life to be accomplished are those who will stop at nothing to lose.that say...nothing in this world cannot beat a bullet to the head........that beats every good ass fighter out there....

  2. Bruce Lee was a genuine martial arts fighter even before he started a film career. What marked him out as a genius was the ability to understand that fighting apart from the physical also contains psychological and emotional elements, also was his emphasis on speed and the use of good reflex action.Bruce combined a lot;footwork from his dancing days, good punches from Western styled boxing and from Wing-Chun School as well.Bruce Lee was a genius in the art of fighting.
