Conor McGregor sends Heat mascot Burnie to ER after two strong punches.
Conor McGregor who is 34 years old now, spoke to the crowd during a timeout to announce his company as the newest Heat sponsor and then punched Burnie to create some buzz around the product. but it seems that McGregor punched the poor guy as if he was fighting inside the Octagon. Not sure what was going in his mind but it is clear that Conor did not have control and the whole thing went wrong.
The Athletic reported Saturday that Burnie was transported to a local emergency room and was given pain medication.
Luckily, Burnie is reportedly doing well now and resting at home. It's currently unclear if he'll press charges against McGregor.
He will get some cash if he does :) because Conor simply knocked him out when he punched him twice.
He was wearing a robe, boxing gloves and a championship belt for the skit. Clearly, however, Burnie needed some headgear for protection.
