Veronica Macedo, from a poomsae and Kyorugi competitor to an MMA destroyer
In today's article we are going to talk about a mixed martial artist who had a Taekwondo back ground before going to the mma competition.
Veronica Macedo is a bit a new face in the mma competition because she had only 11 pro fights even though she started her journey in this type of competition since 2016.
Veronica Macedo started her martial arts journey between eight and nine years old, and her first martial art according to our search was in 2004.
Veronica is from Venezuelan-Portuguese martial artist, she was born October 30, 1995.
Before becoming a pro mixed martial artist, she did two amateur fights at the age of nineteen, and she won both of them by knockout.
She became a pro in 2016 at the age of 21, and she started by winning a fight against Anne Merkt in Munich, Germany.
She did 11 pro fights in the mixed martial arts competition, and she won 6 fights (one by knockout and two by submission, and three by decision), She also lost 4 fights (one knockout, 1 submission and 2 by decision) and one draw.
Her best knockout as many would agree was during her amateur competition when she knocked her opponent by a very strong roundhouse kick.
We have found a video of Veronica Macedo competing in Taekwondo in 2014, and the video shows her competing in poomsae and performing the second form in Taekwondo (Taegeuk EE Jang) and also competing in Kyuorugi.
