Muay Thai is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs”  fists, elbows, knees, and shins. It is one of the tough and strongest martial arts ever created, It is known for being an effective way of fighting.

Muay Thai fighter are famous of being solid compared to many other martial artists, and their training is based on tough full contact training, without the leg nor the arm protection.
Muay Thai is the national sport or martial art of Thailand,
Nai Khanom Tom is known as father of Muay Thai who lived in the 18th century, Nai Khanom Tom was one of the thousands  Siamese prisoners being held by the Burmese King Mangra after the Burmese invasion in the Ayutthaya Kingdom, but Muay Thai roots are older than that.

Taekwondo compared to Muay Thai in a new martial art created in the 20 century, and the competition sparring does not allow knees or elbows or punches to the head. Kicks can kick the chest protector and the head but the punches can only hit the chest/stomach.
This fight here between  Taekwondo and Muay Thai ended up by a knock down of the Muay Thai fighter who got a spinning back kick to the head, and to be honest the Muay Thai fighter does not seem to be experienced fighter, because the taekwondo fighter was showing that he was planning to perform spinning kicks by rotating from time to another, and he succeeded to hit the the Muay Thai fighter on the head and knocked him down.

we do respect all martial arts and this post does not have any purpose to compare between the fighting styles.
Lets watch this fight and feel free to share your opinions with us.

  1. People who trained taekwondo/karate/aikido/jiu jitsu are already rich or have enough money to pay for their martial arts lesson but people who trained muay thai in thailand they trained with their blood and sweat to fight in order for them to survive to get the prize money to buy foods

  2. 1) where is the Thai boxer? Nothing close to Thai boxing in that video..

    2) they seem to fight with semi contact rules where u have to stop after each points. It is like asking a boxer to fight without his fists ... -.-

    Pointless video
