Kukkiwon created a new Taekwondo dobok (uniforms). What do you think about these designs??

    I'd never buy any of those. A simple traditional Dobok is best.

    Those are ridiculous and do not do anything for the art of TKD. No way would I allow those to be worn in my school.

    I'd prefer to see time and energy invested in improving and standardizing curriculum (eg Poomsae Applications, combat / self-defense applications, et al) to restore TKD to a higher level of combative effectiveness and recognition , than pursuing a more "fashionable" dobok, though admittedly, a couple of them did look sharp, snd I liked the referee atire modeled.

    I dont understand the suit looking outfits but most of them just look colorful and creative, i dont see anything wrong with that. It doesnt take anything away from the martial arts but I dont think it adds anything either.

    When we look at things like this we must ask ourselves.."Is it REALLY necessary?" and "Does it improve Taekwondo?" If the answer is NO then dont change what we already have , If, on the other hand, the answer is YES, then by all means embrace the change

    You can talk and comment all you want but if Kukkiwon strictly implements these uniforms for all TKD practioners affiliated with them then you all cannot do anything but comply.
    If you do not like them and would like to stick it out with the traditional and classical white, there is always ITF, karate, judo or brazilian jiu jitsu
