Taekwondo..What a show!

Honnestly it is a shame when Taekwondo demonstrations look like this. A show means that teams should demonstrate their best skills in front of the audience. Mistakes can happen even by professionals sometimes, but a show should not be 90% of mistakes or bad techniques.
Lets see this 👇

  1. Those are NOT Black Belts. They are Green Belts that stole someones Black Belt.

    1. Its the instructors fault...They have no idea other than what they have been told/taught. They really need to start breaking classes into "Family Martial Arts" and "Traditional" Martial Arts...lots of "Paper Dragons"

  2. The problem isn't the student and no one should be insulting them. The problem is the teacher. This is his failure, or hers. promotions do not happen without the teacher both setting the parameters of promotion and promoting when even basics are not met. In the commercial world, a few "gifts" can be allowed, but not at the level they are supposed to be performing at. I feel sorry for students paying money to gain nothing but an illusion. What they know can get them killed or hurt.

  3. Do not laugh at older people!! They are not that flexible...
The "master" is the blame in all scenes. Seemingly he "taughts" only for money. Also the style is curious, they mix Hyongs and Taeguk...

  4. Terrible to watch, the school/instructor should not be handing out black belts as if they candy bars. Shameful

  5. Sweet Jesus, the technique on nearly every person there was atrocious. What idiot was lying to them about their skills? That instructor should face jail time for theft of money, as they did not provide the intended service!

Also, endangerment. As these people think themselves capable martial artists.

It isn’t on the student. It’s their crappy excuse of an instructor.

  7. As a martial arts instructor with 40 years experience, this is really sad to see what is happening in the martial arts today. It isn't the students fault, the blame lies solely with the instructor. As long as you are coming to his class and paying, he doesn't care that your technique is bad and ineffective. I do not teach to make a lot of money, but this kind of training puts a bad taste in someone's mouth as far as the martial arts go and all schools, instructors, styles, etc. get lumped into one group and we all suffer for it. I would really like to see an end to this, it is misleading and dishonest to take their money an have them believe that they are skilled in the martial arts.

  8. Wow! How pitiful. For the majority of us who worked so hard to “EARN” our black belts it seems they were just given theirs. That crap would have never flew with my old school Korean Grand Master.
What a shame to real TKD martial artists.
