Ida Lundgren et Bianca Van Damme
.
Bianca Bree was raised in the film industry and has athletic genes, with her father being martial artist/actor Jean-Claude Van Damme and her mother, a former bodybuilder and fitness competitor Gladys Portugues. Bianca was involved in various sports such as karate, kick-boxing, boxing, ballet, and figure skating at a young age due to her parents' athleticism. She initially aspired to compete in the Olympics, but her dislike for figure skating led her to short track speed skating, eventually aiming for the 2010 Winter Olympics. After intense training, Bianca faced a setback due to a crash during her last race and a subsequent back injury. Despite her injury, she continued to pursue her passion for skating until the pain became too much to handle.
Following high school graduation at 16, Bianca studied acting at John Casablanca's in Vancouver, where she received a scholarship. She subsequently delved into the film industry and made her acting debut in The Shepherd (2008) and The Eagle Path (2010), directed by her father. In 2011, she starred in the reality show Jean Claude Van Damme: Behind Closed Doors, which led to her first genuine acting offer in Alien Uprising (2012).
After shooting two films back to back, Bianca made the decision to take her acting career more seriously and starred in Welcome to the Jungle (2013). She continues to pursue acting and stays in shape through her fitness endeavors and poetry.
