Colbey Northcutt, a Black Belt Magazine Hall-of-Famer and multiple-time Karate World Champion, began her martial arts journey at the age of 7 under the guidance of her father. Her initial training in American Taekwondo was meant for self-defense, but she quickly realized her natural talent for the sport and began competing within just over a year of training. This prompted her to explore other martial arts as well.

Over the next decade, Northcutt traveled the world, participating in various tournaments and amassing an impressive collection of World Titles. She holds a third-degree black belt in American Taekwondo, a fourth-degree black belt in Kajukenbo, and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As the popularity of women's mixed martial arts grew, she decided to put her college education on hold to test her skills in the sport.

Northcutt's extensive background in karate and kickboxing has honed her striking skills, but she has also dedicated herself to improving her ground game with elite coaches such as TJ Dillashaw and Mark Munoz. She is grateful for the opportunity to compete on the global stage of ONE Championship and aspires to become the first ONE Women’s Flyweight World Champion.

In her mixed martial arts career, Northcutt made her amateur debut in October 2012, securing a victory by rear-naked choke in the first round. After a loss in her next match, she went on to win her next three, including the Legacy FC Women’s Amateur Bantamweight Championship. Her professional debut with Legacy Fighting Alliance resulted in a TKO loss in round two.

Northcutt's journey in mixed martial arts took another turn when she signed with ONE Championship in November 2019. She is set to face Putri Padmi in Singapore, marking the next chapter in her MMA career.

Beyond her martial arts achievements, Northcutt is the daughter of Mark Northcutt and the older sister of mixed martial arts star and Karate World Champion Sage Northcutt. She is also married to Raymond Daniels, the current Bellator Kickboxing Welterweight Champion.

Her list of championships and accomplishments is extensive, including numerous world titles in various disciplines such as MMA, point fighting, continuous fighting, and team fighting. Her accolades span from the early 2000s to the present, demonstrating her consistent dedication to the sport.

Colbey Northcutt's martial arts journey is a testament to her hard work and dedication, as she continues to make a name for herself in the world of mixed martial arts while maintaining a legacy of success across multiple disciplines.
