Donald Trump is a Taekwondo 9th Dan
The former US president Donald Trump received a very high Dan certificate from the Kukkiwon president.
Lee Dong Sup, the president of World Taekwondo headquarters awarded Donald Trump a Taekwondo ninth Dan Black belt at his Mar-a-Lago Club in Florida on Nov. 19, 2021.
This was not the first time that the kukkiwon offers black belts and high ranks to people who never done Taekwondo before.
The Russian president Putin received a ninth Dan before and many others received different Dan's such as Mohammed Ali, Shahrukh Khan and many others.
Some of the Taekwondo community are with the idea to award personalities by honorary black belts while others are against that.
It seems that the fastest way to earn a 9th Dan black belt is to become a country president :)
Some find an explanation for this awards, and they say that the kukkiwon is offering black belts to personalities who did something to Taekwondo, but honestly it looks like the Kukkiwon and also the WT (former WTF) are exaggerating in these awards, and they better create another prize instead of the high Dan, and we all know that everyone of us should work hard for so many years to reach the level of a grand master.
