Jean-Claude Camille François van Varenberg, professionally
known as Jean-Claude van Damme and as JCVD is a Belgian actor born in October 18, 1960 (age 60 years now ), in Belgium. Jean Claude van Damme is a martial artist and actor known for his incredible roles in martial arts movie, especially the eighties of the 20th century, that was a golden era of those movies.
No doubt that JCVD inspired many martial artists and had a role to encourage people to do martial arts, his style was great and entertaining because it was more close to Taekwondo, the flexibility in his kicks were noticeable, and performing splits were always there :)
JCVD is an icon of martial arts and even if he gets some negative critics, but we should admit that he had millions of followers around the world, and he had inspired millions.
Jean was probably the best actor to use kicks and flexibility in movies in 1980s and 1990s, and he was a good entertainer during that era when only the split was a show its self.
JCVD practiced Karate as a teen and competed in sparring and won some titles, even if some jealous actors have different opinions.
Vandamme retired so early from the competitions when he traveled to the United States and started his first steps in movies.
Fortunately, after sometime he succeeded to make good movies, especially those he did with his Moroccan Belgian friend Qissi,
Now Jean Claude Van Damme is almost 61 years old, and he is still active and doing much better than few years back, especially when he lost his way because of fame.
Jean Claude has a sportive family including his ex wife and also kids, and his daughter Bianca also has a very impressive flexibility, we can see that is many videos and also pictures.
It is true that she did not have the success in movies that her father had but who knows, maybe she can find the key for success one day.
