Fake or real Taekwondo black belts

Many Taekwondo schools are competing to have more black belts and also earn more money, therfore they do not care about the quality and the level.

In these video, these guys are doing a demonstration of Taekwondo, and showing what they got.
We don't want to be rude but this is entertaining in a negative way 🤦‍♂️.

Taekwondo grand masters and masters are responsible about this mess and also the Kukkiwon.
What do you guys think about this performance?

  4. I did ITF and that's not ITF, I knock off look alike. Like GTF. But no sin wave which was drilled into us

    1. You are correct this is not ITF tho they are attempting some ITF patterns such as Po En and Gae bek. Sin wave however was not the original ITF but rather became implemented later. Originally it more closely resembled shotokan karate as it is based on that. Sin wave is a modern characteristic and some schools still do not teach with that styling

    2. Kickboxing has its origins in Shotokan, not taekwondo. This is a dance mix of something, and still very poorly executed

  5. No... thats koryo. World taekwondo black belt pattern. Just done poorly

    1. The first was Koryo, then followed by very poor quality ITF patterns Po en and Gae Bek. Students training is one thing. This performance is meant to be a testing and all look ill prepared

  6. To be fair, these guys look like they have sort of disability. I think it's good that the sport can be open and accepting of all. I'm sure they have been trying for many years and sometimes it's good just to reward that perseverance.

  7. Any style is only as good as its Master, if the Master allows pour technique to move forward than you get pour students. I have trained at many schools over the years and I always decide if a school is worth training at my wayching their black belts

    1. I absolutely agree. Watch their black belts, but also their low belts. That is where a lot of these poor habits, attitudes, and techniques begin. Is low belts do not show respect discipline, and improvement in form then don't even bother looking at the black belts.

  8. I see both Koryo and ITF forms, all done wayyyy to fast and poorly.

  9. Abismal the are supposed to be black belts but perform at the same lvl as a white or yellow belt

  10. All these nasty comments are just plain ignorant. Everyone gets to the same point differently, it only matters that they continue. A strong will is all that is needed.

  11. Lazy martial artist, their body language is so wrong.

  12. Don't know about the first form but the next 3 are ITF patterns - Po Eun, Kwang Gae and Gae Baek. They are to grade to 2nd dan. I've seen them performed 100s, maybe 1000s, of times, but I can honestly say I've NEVER seen them performed that bad.

  13. Po-eun, gae-beak and Kwang Gae are 1st degree tuls in ITF Taekwon-do. Not very well represented though. Especially the team performances. They should be all going the same pace, staying in unison. And no power or sharp techniques. Stances were poor to say the least. I'm no expert by any means but I give 100%. Not even gonna comment on the breaking routines.
