Taekwondo vs kick boxing bloody fight

Taekwondo and kickboxing are both martial arts, but there are several differences between the two:
1. Origin: Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial art that emphasizes kicks, while kickboxing is a modern combat sport that originated in Japan and evolved from a combination of traditional martial arts and Western boxing.
2. Techniques: In Taekwondo, the focus is on high, fast, and powerful kicks, as well as a variety of hand strikes and blocks. Kickboxing, on the other hand, emphasizes a combination of punching and kicking techniques, often including knee and elbow strikes as well.
3. Rules and competitions: Taekwondo competitions are often focused on forms (poomsae) and sparring, with specific rules and regulations governing scoring. Kickboxing competitions typically involve full-contact fighting within a ring, with rules similar to those of boxing (e.g., no hitting below the belt, no holding, etc.).
4. Training and philosophy: Taekwondo places a strong emphasis on discipline, self-control, and respect for others, often incorporating traditional Korean philosophy and culture into training. Kickboxing training is typically more focused on physical conditioning and practical self-defense techniques, without as much emphasis on traditional martial arts philosophy.
Overall, while both Taekwondo and kickboxing involve kicking and striking techniques, they have different origins, techniques, rules, and training philosophies.can be a great way to learn and grow as a martial artist. It allows practitioners to test their skills against different fighting styles and adapt their techniques to a variety of challenges. Sparring with athletes from different martial arts can also help to develop respect and understanding for other disciplines, as well as building camaraderie among martial artists. However, it is important to approach this kind of sparring with an open mind and willingness to learn, rather than an attitude of superiority or competition. Ultimately, sparring between athletes from different martial arts can be a valuable opportunity for mutual growth and development.
A poomsae master making debut in MMA fighting.
This is a bloody full contact fight between Taekwondo and kick boxing, and again it is not to compare between martial arts, but it is amazing to see how every martial artist can deal in a mixed martial arts fight and under other rules.
Taekwondo fighter is poomsae master called Lee Dong Hee, he trained three months before making this debut fight here.
Some people still think that poomsae is also a way of sparring but you can not use the poomsae techniques or stances or movements in a real fighting.
Let's watch the video

  1. Why don't you let that TKD man fight for he likes of Buakaw, Senchai, Khabib, Justin G. or Twai Ma Shaun or even Xu Xiadong... Don't let him fight that scratch opponent who likes the fury, skills or experience! Let him fight someone who is A BIG SHARK! And not just any small fry fish like that lousy opponent - and we'll see if his TKD Poomse skills will really be effective with these other monsters in the ring...
