    It was obvious that the Korean fighter had better skills, but it can be hard to beat someone with that much extra leg length on you.

    I don't understand the scoring in TKD, but it seemed to me like the young man from Korea made more significant contact that the young man from Iran.

      The scoring works when your kick is connected to the body or to the head. Your points will add up if your kick reached the target amount of impact based on your weight category
